Ordnance Factory Board, Kolkata invites applications for Trade Apprenticeship Training in Ordnance and Ordnance Equipment Factories. This training will be for the year 2012-13. Aspiring candidates whose ages are between 14 and 22 years as on 01/10/2012 are eligible to apply for this. Relaxation in age for candidates belonging to reserved category will be applicable as per rule. Online application for this can be filled up from 26/11/2012 to 17/12/2012 and last date of received of hard copy of the application at concerned ordnance factory is 27/12/2012. Those who belong to Far-flung area may send application print out on or before 03/01/2013. Trade Apprenticeship Training:

Stipend during Training:
  • Rs.1490 PM for 1st year
  • Rs.1700 PM for 2nd year
  • Rs.1970 PM for 3rd year
  • Rs.2220 PM for 4th year
Exam Pattern: There will be organized an objective type written examination for both Non-ITI and ITI Applicants. The test will be based on English, GK, Mathematics, Aptitude / Reasoning. Written test for ITI Candidates comprises two parts. The 1st part will be based on the same as mentioned above and the 2nd part will be based on group of subject trades. Language of the test can be selected by the candidates at the time of application. It may be Hindi / Telugu, English, Tamil / Marathi / Oriya / Bengali

How to apply: Fill up online application between 26/11/2012 and 17/12/2012 through the website http://ofb.gov.in. For this, you must have scanned copy of photograph and signature. If everything is available then log on to the above said website and fill up application with required details and submit. Now take copy of application print out and send it with copies of required documents such as Caste Certificate, Proof of age certificate and IPO of Rs.30 in “favour of Sr. GM/GM of concerned Ordnance Factory” to the respective address on or before 27/12/2012.
