OPSC Recruitment 2014 - 811 Assistant Section Officer Posts

Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) is going to recruit Assistant Section Officers in Pay Scale of Rs.9300-34800 + GP Rs.4200 Pay Scale. The Process of Selection of the Job comprises written examination, skill test and interview. Aspirants who possess Bachelor's degree and proficiency in computer application are eligible for applying for this Post.

Note: This is Corrigendum to Advt.No.08 of 2012-13 for post of Assistant Section Officer. Under this Corrigendum, vacancies has been revised. So, those candidates who have not apply for this post can fill up online application for this from 01/09/2014 to 27/09/2014 till 11.59 PM. Those candidates need not apply who have applied already. All the terms and conditions will be same as earlier.

Assistant Section Officer (in following department)
  • Governor's Secretariat-11 Posts (UR-06, SEBC-01, ST-02, SC-02)
  • State Secretariat - 800 Posts (UR-400, SEBC-90, ST-180, SC-130)
Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800 + GP Rs.4200

Age Limit: 21 to 32 years as on 01/01/2012. 5 years relaxations for SC/ST/S.E.B.C/EXS and 10 years for PHD candidates.

Qualification: Graduation degree in any disciplines from a recognized University with knowledge of computer application.

Selection Process: It will be made on the basis of written examination, skill test and interview.

Application Fees: Rs.300 which can be paid through Challan at any branch of State Bank of India by 30/09/2014. No fees for SC/ST candidates.

How to Apply: OPSC accepts online application for this Post. So, candidates may fill up online application through the website http://opsconline.gov.in from 01/09/2014 to 27/09/2014.
