Recruitment of 1513 Drivers in Haryana Roadways on contract, 2012

State Transport, Haryana is seeking Drivers for Several Depots of Haryana Roadways purely on contract / Daily Wages Basis. Candidates who want to work as Driver and meet the required eligibility criteria prescribed by Transport for this Job may apply in prescribed format on or before 10/12/2012. Driving Proficiency Test and Interview will be conducted for selection on this Post. Those who are selected for the Job may be posted at any where in Haryana State or outside the State as per order made by competent authority. Note, that aspirants are not required to apply at more than one depot; otherwise their application will be rejected. Look at the following lines for more write up in this context

  • Drivers: - Total: 1513 Posts (Unreserved-131, SC-858 & BC-524), Pay Scale: Rs.5200 to 20200, Qualifications: Class 10th Pass with Hindi or Sanskrit from a recognized board and experience of 2 years in Driving Heavy Goods Vehicle with a Valid Transport Vehicle Driving Licence. Proficiency in driving Heavy Passenger Motor Vehicle or Experience of 10 years in driving Armed Forces Vehicle, Age Limit: 18 to 40 years as on 10/12/2012.

Application Fees: Rs.200 for UR & Rs.50 for SC/BC

How to apply: First of all, candidates need to make a DD of appropriate application fees in favour of “Director General, State Transport, Haryana, Chandigarh”. Now applicants are required to have such a prescribed application form as given in the detailed notification, fill it up with proper details, paste a colour photograph on it and sign in the box provided just below the photograph. If the application is complete then send it with DD, self attested copy of DOB / Class 10th Certificate as age proof, self attested copies of Driving Licence, Caste Certificate as well as other requisite documents to the concerned address of “Haryana Roadways Depots” on or before 10/12/2012.
