Employment Notice
No.01/2015-16/KPA: Applications are invited from ITI Passed Candidates for
Engagement of 750 Act Apprentice in various trades for Eastern Railway,
Kanchrapara Railway Workshop. Aspiring and eligible candidates can apply for
Act Apprentice Post on Plain Paper in prescribed format and send application by
post to the said address on or before 28/09/2015.

Qualifications: Matriculation
with 50% Marks and having ITI Certificate in relevant trade from institute
affiliated to NCVT. Candidates who are not having ITI certificates need not
apply.
Age Limit: Minimum
age of the candidates should be 15 years and below 24 years as on 01/07/2015.
Relaxation in age for SC / ST candidates will be given upto 05 years and OBC
candidates will be given upto 03 years.
Selection Process: Selection
of the candidates will be made on the basis of marks obtained in matriculation examination
and ITI Certificate. Candidates having higher qualification will not be granted
extra weightage.
Application Fee: UR
& OBC candidates are required to pay of Rs.40 in the shape of Crossed IPO
as processing fee in favour of FA & CAO, E. Rly, Kolkata. Payable to GPO /
Kolkata. SC / ST / PH / Women / Minorities / Economically Backward candidates
need pay fee.
How to Apply: Candidates
who meet eligibility criteria can apply in prescribed format and send
application with copies of necessary documents by post to “Workshop Personnel Officer, Eastern Railway, P.O. Kanchrapara, DT.
24-Parganas (N) West Bengal, PIN – 743145” on or before 28/09/2015 till 4.30 PM. Candidates can
also drop their duly filled in application form in the Application Box kept in
Time Office / Loco Gate and Main Gate of C&W, E. Rly. Kanchrapara between
10 AM and 4.30 PM from Monday to Friday. On Saturday, candidates can deposit
application by 1.30 PM. Candidates note that cover of the application should be
super scribed as “Application for Engagement of Act Apprentice with Community
and Trade for Kanchrapara Railway Workshop”. Application will not be considered
if candidates submit more than one application for other trade.
Enclosures:
Candidates must attach copies of matriculation certificate, mark sheet, age
proof, ITI Certificate attested by Gazetted Officer, IPO, Caste Certificate, PH
Certificate (if any), One self addressed envelope of 11”*5” size affixed postal

Eastern Railway C & W Workshop, Liluah is inviting applications
from eligible candidates for filling up 525
Vacancies of Act Apprentice. Candidates
who have passed ITI Examination from NCVT Affiliated Institute are eligible to

for PH candidates.

date 28/09/2015.
