Union Public Service Commission has released a notification for the recruitment of various posts in category-I and II. Selection of the post will be done on the basis of written examination which is also known as UPSC Geologist Exam 2012. After written test an interview will be organized by the Commission. Aspirants who meet the entire eligibility criteria may apply till 15/10/2012

  • Geologist – 300

Category-II
  • Junior Hydrogeologists – 03
  • Assistant Hydrogeologists – 12

Age Limit: 21 to 32 years for category-I, 21 to 35 for Jr. Hydrogeologist, 21 to 30 years for Asst. Hydrogeologist as on 01/08/2012.

 Application Fees: Rs.200 but no fees for SC/ST/PH candidates. Fees can be paid through NET banking facilities or by cash at State Bank of India, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur / State Bank of Hyderabad / State Bank of Mysore / State Bank of Patiala.

How to apply: UPSC is accepting only online application for these posts. So, candidates need to visit its official website www.upsconline.nic.in for filling up online application till 15/10/2012 upto 11.59 p.m.
