RRC Secunderabad 2801 Group-D Recruitment 2013 Trackman, Helper-II & Assistant Points Man

Employment Notice No.RRC/SCR/Group-D/1/2013: South Central Railway, one of railway zone of India with headquarter at Secunderabad, has published a recruitment notification for filling up 2801 vacancies of Group-D Posts such as Trackman, Helper-II and Assistant Points Man in several Divisions, Workshops as well as offices of SCR in the pay Band of Rs.5200 to 20200 + Rs.1800 GP. Selection for these posts will be made by conducting a written examination & PET. Aspiring candidates who meet the eligibility criteria required for the post can apply in prescribed format and send application to the address of Board on or before 30^th Sep 2013.

Eligibility & Pay Scale

• Qualifications: Those who are class 10^th or ITI Passed or have equivalent qualifications can apply for these posts. But those candidates are not eligible for the posts who expect their final result of minimum required qualification as above said on the date of application.
• Age Limit: 18 years is minimum and 33 years is maximum age limit to apply for the post. Age will be calculated as on 01/01/2014. Candidates belonging to reserved category will be provided relaxation in age as per rule. 5 years will be given for SC / ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD.
• Pay Scale: (PB-I) Rs.5200 to 20200 + Rs.1800 GP

Selection Process & Exam Pattern: The Process of recruitment comprises objective type Written Test, Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Medical Examination. This is applicable for Ex-servicemen too. In the written examination, questions will be of class 10^th Level and will be based on GK, GA, Mathematics and Reasoning. Papers will be set in English & Hindi Language, as well as other language such as Telugu, Marathi, Urdu, Kannada. The test carry negating marking, 1/3 marks for each wrong answer will be deducted. Eligible candidates will be sent call letter for written test separately. PET will be qualifying in nature.

Application Fees: A Crossed Demand Draft or Indian Postal Order of Rs.100 in favour of Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment), Railway Recruitment Cell, Secunderabad – 500071, Payable at Hyderabad or Secunderabad must be accompanied with application form. Application fee is not applicable for SC / ST / Women / PWD / Ex-Servicemen / Economically Backward Class and Minority Communities. Applicants must write their name and address on the reverse side of DD/IPO.

How to Apply: The prescribed application form is available at www.scr.indianrailways.gov.in. Download prescribed application form, fill it up with required details, paste a latest passport size photograph in the space provided on the form and put signature in the box just below the photograph the pasted. Duly furnished application with one identical photograph as pasted on the form, DD/IPO and self attested copies of requisite documents must reach “The Assistant Personnel Officer / RRC / SC, Written Examination Control Centre, Railway Bunglow No.100, Opp. St. Anthony’s Church, Beside Mettuguda Bus Stop, South Lallaguda, Secunderabad (A.P.) – 500017” by closing date 30/09/2013 till 5 PM. Closing date of application for Far-flung area’s candidates is 15/10/2013. Candidates can submit their duly complete application by person in the box kept at said address. Each candidate should send only one application.
