Office of Director General of Police (DGP) of Rajasthan has
released a notification for recruitment of 12178 Constable (General, Driver,
Band & Operator) for various districts / Unit / Battalion of Rajasthan
Police in Pay Band of Rs.5200-20200 + GP Rs.2400. Age of the candidates who are
going to apply for this post should not be below 18 years. Application for this
post can be made online from 22/07/2013 to 22/08/2013 through the website www.exampolice.rajasthan.gov.in
or can be filled up through authorized E-Mitra Kiosk or CSE.

Note: Excluding above vacancies, 204 vacancies are for Constable
General and 20 vacancies for Constable Driver for for Saharia of Baran District. There are 30% horizontal reservations
for Female Candidates.
Qualifications: Class 10th or equivalent for
District Police, Class 8th for R.A.C Battalion, Higher Secondary
with Science, Physics and Maths or equivalent for Police Telecom Operator.

Pay Scale: Rs.5200 to 20200 + Rs.2400 GP. Rs.7900 PM will be
given during probation period.
Selection Process: Selection for the Job will be made by
conducting written examination, physical efficiency test, skill test, proficiency
test followed by medical examination. Written examination for the post of Constable
Band will not be conducted.
Application Fees: Rs.200 for UR, OBC / SBC and Rs.150 for
SC/ST candidates of Rajasthan. Rs.30 extra as online application fee has to be
paid by candidates at kiosk or Common service centre (C.S.C).
How to Apply: Online application for this post can be filled
up from 22/07/2013 to 22/08/2013 through
E-Mitra or CSC, for which, candidates will have to pay of Rs.30 extra (Rs.20
for filling up application form and Rs.10 as fee deposit charge). Candidates
themselves can fill up online application form through the website www.exampolice.rajasthan.gov.in,
for which, they have to pay of Rs.10 only as fee deposit charge.
