Govt. of India, MHA has issued a Notification for recruitment of Head Constable in SSB. Aspirants who fulfill physical standard and all required qualifications can apply for Head Constable in SSB on or before 15/11/2012

Qualifications: Higher Secondary form any recognized university or equivalent qualification.

Physical Standard:

• Men: Height =167.5 Cms, Chest: =81 Cms (unexpanded), 86 Cms (expanded)
• Women: Height: =157 Cms, Chest: = Not Applicable.

Application Fees: Rs. 50. No fees for SC/ST candidates. Fees can be paid in the shape of Demand Draft in the favour of Accountant Officer, SHQ, Gorakhpur (UP) payable at SBI Gorakhpur or IPO (Indian Postal Order) in favour of Accountant Officer, SHQ, Gorakhpur (UP)

Selection Process:

Applicants will be selected through following process

Ø      Documentation

Ø      Physical Standard Test (PST)

Ø      Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Ø      Written Examination

Ø      Typing Speed test

Ø      Basic knowledge test of computer

Ø      Final Medical Examination
