A Recruitment notification for filling up 75 Vacancies of Police Constable Driver (Executive) has issued by Andaman and Nicobar Police. Selection for Police Constable Driver (Exe) Job will be dome through PET, Written Test of 60 Marks, Trade Test of 25 Marks and Interview followed by Medical Test.

No. of Vacancies: 75 Posts (UR-32, OBC-28, ST-08, Departmental Candidates-07)

Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 + GP Rs.2000

Eligibility: Matriculation from any Board with Valid Driving License with knowledge of Motor Machine.

Physical Standard for Police Constable Driver (Exe)

·         Height: (UR & OBC) – 168 cm, (160 cm for ST)

·         Chest: – 81 cms to 85 cms, (77cms to 81 cms for ST)

·         Minimum Weight – 50 kg (47kg for ST)

Physical Endurance Test:

·         High Jump – 4 feet in three attempt

·         Long Jump – 12 feet in three attempt

·         Race – One mile in 7 minutes

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 02/11/2012. There will be 3 years relaxation for OBC and 5 years for ST category.
