SSC Eligibility Criteria for (Combined 10+2 Level Exam) DEO & LDC 2013

SSC is going to hold a written test for recruitment of Data Entry Operator & LDC on 10/11/2013 and 17/11/2013. The test is also known as SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination or SSC CHSL. Only those candidates are eligible for this Written Examination who fulfill following eligibility criteria

Educational Qualifications: Those aspirants who have qualified in Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or possess any equivalent qualification from a recognized board are eligible to apply for this exam for recruitment to Data Entry Operator and LDC Posts. Qualifications will be reckoned as on 01/08/2013.
Note: Degree obtained through Open University/Distant Education must be recognized by Distant Education Council, IGNOU.

Age Limit: Age of the candidates who are going to apply for this exam should be between 18 years and 27 years as on 01/08/2013. i.e. born not before 02/08/1986 and not after 01/08/1995.

Age Relaxations:
  • SC/ST – 5 years
  • OBC – 3 years
  • PH – 10 years, PH (OBC)  – 13 years, PH (SC/ST) – 15 years
  • EXS (UR) - 03 years, EXS (OBC)-06 years, EXS (SC/ST)-08 years

Merit List of qualified candidates has been uploaded at http://www.csbc.bih.nic.in . Those candidates who have passed this examination will be called for Physical Evaluation Test (PET).
