A notification for Recruitment to the Post of Assistant Sub Inspector (RM) and Head Constable (RO) in Boarder Security Force Communication Set Up 2015 has been issued by Directorate General, BSF. All Indian Citizens whether Male or Female belonging to Unreserved, SC, ST and OBC categories are eligible to apply for this post. Pay Scale will be Rs.5200-20200 + other allowance and New Pension scheme will be applicable to all selected candidates. BSF Exam Pattern 2016
First Phase of selection process comprises OMR Based Written Examination (Objective Type) and Written Test (Descriptive Type). Second Phase comprises PST, PET, Document Verification and Final Medical Test.Written Test Objective (Scheduled on 25/09/2016)

Note: 0.50 Marks for Each wrong answer will be deducted. Minimum qualifying marks for UR/OBC is 38% and for SC/ST is 33%.

Note: Both the above tests are mandatory and final merit list will be made on the basis marks obtained in these tests. 2.5 Mark for each Omission/Mistake of Single Letter will be deducted and 5 Marks will be deducted for each Word Mistake. 38% and 33% is minimum qualifying marks for UR/OBC category and SC/ST category respectively.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Race: - 1.6 kms in 6.5 Minutes for Male and 800 Meters in 4 Minutes for Female.
- Long Jump: - 3.65 Meters in 3 Chances for Male and 9 Feet in 3 Chances for Female.
- High Jump: - 1.2 Meters in 3 Chances for Male and 3 Feet in 3 Chances for Female.
How to Apply
Candidates can fill online form against BSF ASI HC Vacancy 2016 by visiting www.rectt.bsf.gov.in. BSF Online Form will be filled up from 16/06/2016 at 9 AM and it will be end on 15/07/2016 at 12 Midnight. More details in this context will be made available on the official website.
After online application, candidates should take print out and send it with Bank Draft in Favour of Inspector General/DIG/Comdt, Payable at Respective SBI/Post Office, to concerned recruitment centers within 15 days from closing date of online application. Envelope of the application must be superscripted in Bold as “Application for the post of ASI/RM or HC/RO”.
After online application, candidates should take print out and send it with Bank Draft in Favour of Inspector General/DIG/Comdt, Payable at Respective SBI/Post Office, to concerned recruitment centers within 15 days from closing date of online application.
