If you are Male or Female candidates with Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or Matriculation with ITI, you have the chance to apply for Sub-Inspector (Pioneer) in Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). If you are Male candidates with Matriculation with ITI Diploma of 2 years with Heavy Driving License, you may apply for the post of Head Constable (Workshop) in Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). SSB Recruitment of Sub-Inspector & Head Constable 2013
Physical Standard	Male: Height-170 cms, Chest: 80 cms to 85 cms for all categories, Height-162.5 cms: Chest: 76 cms to 81 cms for ST Category in case of applying for SI & HC. Female: Height-157 cms for all categories and 150 cms for ST Category in case of applying for SI.  Weight: Proportionate to Height as per Medical Standard Eye Sight: 6/6 and 6/9 without wearing glasses
Age Limit	30 years for Sub-Inspector and 18 to 25 years for Head Constable as on 20/07/2013. Relaxation for SC/ST will be 5 years and 3 years for OBC
