SSB Exam Pattern for Asst Sub-Inspector & Head Constable (Telecom) 2012
Selection for the post of Asst Sub-Inspector & Head Constable (Telecom) will be done through Documentation, PST, PET, Written Test & Medical Test. First of all, candidates will have to report to the designated recruitment venue on the stipulated date and time, here, candidates will have to show all their original documents along with two attested photographs. After verification of documents, candidates will have to appear for Physical Standard Test (PST) and then Physical Efficiency test which comprises following
- 100 Metres Race in 16 Seconds
- Long Jump (11 feet)
- High Jump (3 Feet 6 Inches)
- 800 Metres Race in 4 Minutes
After Qualifying in PET, Candidates will be called for Written Examination which will be Objective Type of 100 Marks. Exam Pattern (Written) comprises General English/Hindi of 25 Marks, General Knowledge of 25 Marks, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Basic Electronics of 50 Marks. See the following

- For written test, candidates will not be issued any separate call letter
- Written Test will be held on OMR Based Answer Sheets
- Minimum Qualifying Marks will be 50% for UR & EXS and 40% for SC/ST/OBC Candidates
