NCC ”C” Certificate Holder and Ward of Battle Causalities of Army Personnel have the opportunity to become Short Service Commission (SSC) in Indian Army. Male Candidates (Married/Unmarried) and Female Candidates (Unmarried) are eligible for the application in Indian Army. See the Following Details

01.       NCC Men – 50 (General-45 and 5 for Wards)
02.       NCC Women – 08 (10% are reserved for Wards)

Eligibility
NCC “C” Certificate Holder: Bachelor’s degree with 50% Marks in all years of graduate course. Those may also apply who are studying in third year if they have secured at least 50% Marks in first two years
Ward of Battle Causalities: Bachelor’s Degree with 50% Marks in all years of graduate course
Physical Standard
Height: 157.5 cms with co-related weight but 152 height for women and 42 kg Weight
Visual Standard: Corrected Vision: 6/6 and 6/9
Age Limit
19 to 25 years i.e. born between 02/01/1988 and 01/01/1994

How to apply: Duly furnished application in prescribed format should be posted to the nearest OC, NCC Unit and those who are serving in Armed Force duly counter-signed by commanding officer should be sent to OC, NCC Unit. Advance copy of application should be sent directly to DG NCC West Block – IV, RK Puram, New Delhi-110066”.  Last date for recipe of application at NCC Bn/GP  HQ is 01/08/2012 and at Rtg Dte from Dte Gen NCC is 01/10/2012
