Exam Pattern & Selection Process of Constable (Driver) in SSB 2013: In this article, i am going to describe about exam pattern for Constable (Driver) Written Test 2013 which will be conducted by Sashatra Seema Bal (SSB). i will also decried about Procedure of Selection. So, note that the Selection Process of constable (Driver) comprises following
  1. Document Verification
  2.  PST
  3.  PET
  4. Written Test
  5. Trades Test (Driving/Technical Test)
  6. Final Medical Test
  7.  Review Medical Test
Only those who successfully clear the entire above tests will be eligible for the Job of Constable (Driver) in SSB. OK, let me show you entire the tests in details.

Documentation:  As you know in this stage your documents will be verified by the authority appointed by SSB

Physical Standard Test: Only those candidates will be qualified in this stage whose physical standards are following 
  • Height: 170 cms for all categories, 165 cms for Hill area candidates and 162.5 cms for ST / Adivasi candidates
  • Chest: It should be 80 to 85 cms with expansion for all category and 76 to 81 cms for ST
  • Weight: It should be Proportionate to height as per medical standard

Physical Efficiency Test: It comprises 1 Mile race in 6 ½ minutes, Long Jump 11 feet (3 chances), High Jump 3’ 6” (3 chances).

Medical Standard: Your Distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of both the eyes with wearing any glasses. Candidates should be free from Knock-knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and candidates possess high colour vision

Written Test: Only those candidates will be called for written test who qualify in both test PST and PET. Pattern of written test comprises General English/Hindi and General Knowledge. It will be of 100 Marks for which 2 hours of time duration has been stipulated. The Minimum Qualifying Marks for UR and EXS is 35% and for SC/ST/OBC is 33% only. Have a look on the following
  • General English/Hindi – 50 Marks
  • General Knowledge – 50 Marks
  • Total Marks: 100
  • Maximum Time: 2 Hours
Driving Test (Trade Test): Those who qualify in written examination will be called for Driving Test which will be of 50 Marks. The Minimum qualifying marks in this test is 35%

Medical Examination: Only those candidates who have qualified in written examination will be called for medical test. After this, a review medical test will be organize and then final selection for the post of constable (Driver) will be made on these basis

Bihar Police Constable Result 2015 Result of Bihar Police Constable Written Examination for 11783 Vacancies organized under Advt.No.01/2014 on 19/10/2014 has been declared by CSBC. Merit List of qualified candidates has been uploaded at http://www.csbc.bih.nic.in . Those candidates who have passed this examination will be called for Physical Evaluation Test (PET).
