Class 8th Pass  for APST & APST (EXS) and Class 10th Pass for General Candidates from a recognized board
Physical Standard
Height: 165cms for UR, 160 cms for APST, 152 cms for TIRAP/Changlang
Chest: 79 cms to 84 cms for all candidates
Age Limit
17 to 21 years as on 01/01/2012. Relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years
No. of Vacancies
1760 Posts (AAPBn-81, IRBn-1679)
Application Fees
Rs.40 for UR and Rs.10 for SC/ST Candidates. Fees should be in the form of Treasury Challan in Favour of “Asstt Inspector General of Police (E), PHQ, Itanagar under Head Account “0055” Police.

How to apply: Application for post of Constable in Arunachal Pradesh Police can be made in such format as shown in the Detailed Advertisement. The application form can be obtained from all SP Office/DC Office / Police Stations of Arunachal Pradesh at free of cost. Duly complete application with attested copies of supporting documents and treasury challan of appropriate application fees must reach the “SP Office of Respective Recruitment Centres” for APST Candidates and “SP (Recruitment) PHQ Itanagar” for General Candidates on or before 16/07/2012.
