SSC Exam Pattern & Syllabus of Stenographer Written Test 2015
Staff Selection Commission popularly known as SSC is going to conduct All Indian Open Examination on 27th Dec-2015 for the recruitment to the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’. Aspirants who have applied for this post will be invited for Written Examination. The Pattern of Written examination with Syllabus can be seen in the following paragraphs. Selection Process: Selection Process of Stenographer job comprises of mainly two stages such as Written Examination and Skill Test in Stenography. Eligible Candidates will be invited for Written Test scheduled on 27/12/2015 thereafter Skill Test if they are qualified in this test.

Written Test: The Examination will be completely objective type and there will be 200 Multiple Choice Questions carrying 200 Marks. The test also carries negative marking, 0.25 marks for each wrong answer will be deducted. Candidates will be given 2 Hours to finish this Examination which will be held from 10 am to 12 Noon Or 2 pm to 4. Visually Handicapped Person will be given total time duration of 2 Hours and 40 Minutes for completing this written test. Have a look on the following tables to make this out clearly

Skill Test in Stenography: Only those candidates will be eligible for Skill Test in Stenography who successfully qualify in written examination. SSC will stipulate different qualifying Marks in Skill Test for Different Categories. The Test will consist of Dictation for 10 Minutes in Hindi or English at Minimum speed of 100 WPM for Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 80 WPM for Stenographer ‘D’.   • Stenographer ‘C’: 40 Minutes (English) & 55 Minutes (Hindi)
  • Stenographer ‘D’: 50 Minutes (English) & 65 Minutes (Hindi)
