RRB Exam Pattern, Selection Process of Various Posts 2012
Railway Recruitment Board Popularly known as RRB has notified for the recruitment of various posts such as Commercial Apprentice, Traffic Apprentice, ECRC, Goods Guard, Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist, ASM and Traffic Assistant against Centralized Employment Notice No. 03/2012. For the Selection of entire the above posts, RRB is going to organize a Preliminary Examination on 28/10/2012 and then Main Examination. So, here i will describe for you about the exam pattern of the Written Test (Preliminary & Mains) and selection process of above mentioned posts
Selection Process: For the Selection of any one of the above mentioned posts, RRB is going to organize a Written Exam on 28/10/2012 . Only those who successfully clear this Preliminary Examination with minimum qualifying marks will be called for Main Examination for which candidates will have to submit again an application form. After Qualifying in main examination, candidates will be called for document verification. Those who have applied for the post of Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist and Senior Clerk cum Typist will be called for Skill Test (Typing Test) and those who have applied for Assistant Station Master & Traffic Assistant will be called for Aptitude Test followed by Document Verification.
Exam Pattern: It will be comprised of Two Stages, Stage-I (Preliminary Examination) and Stage-II (Main Examination). Only those candidates are eligible for appearing in the main examination who qualify in preliminary examination with minimum qualifying marks. After Main examination, candidates will be called for Skill Test and Document Verification respectively. Let’s have an eye on the following tables

Important Notes:
- After completion of all these tests, candidates will be called for medical fitness Test which will be organized by Railway Administration and only those candidates will be eligible for the appointment on suitable posts who successfully clear this medical examination
- “Distance Vision” of the candidates should be 6/9 and 6/9 without glasses and 6/12 and 6/18 with glasses and “Near Vision” should be 0.6 and 0.6 with or without glasses
