Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as on 01/01/2013. Relaxation in age for candidates
of West Bengal belonging to SC & ST category is 5 years and OBC (A) &
OBC (B) category is 3 years. Ex-servicemen will be given relaxation as per
rule.
Selection Process & Exam Pattern: WBSEDCL will conduct a written examination, Computer
Proficiency Test (CPT) and Interview for selection of deserving candidates on
suitable post. Tests & Interview will be held in Kolkata on the date is yet
to be announced. Written Test will be based on GK, Current Affairs, Reasoning,
General English, Arithmetic and Professional subjects. A descriptive test will
be conducted for the candidates who have applied for Jr. Executive Post, under
which they have to write an essay.
Application fee: Rs.400 for Jr. Executive (Rs.240 for PH) & Rs.250
for Office Executive (Rs.150 for PH). The fee will be paid at any branch of
United Bank of India using Challan generated after online registration, by the date
10/10/2013.
How to Apply: Online application can be made till 10/10/2013 Midnight. Candidates must have a valid email id and
mobile number for this. Visit www.wbsedcl.in, open relevant link placed
under “Career@WBSEDCL”, fill up online
application form with proper details and submit. After submission, take a print
of challan for paying application fee at designated bank and take a print out
of system generated registration slip for sending with Challan and copies of supporting
documents attested by Gazetted Officer, to the address “The Advertiser, Post Bag No.781, Circus Avenue Post Office Kolkata –
700017” on or before 21/10/2013.
