West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (WBSEDCL), involved in the work of electricity distribution in the state, is looking for Sub Assistant Engineer, Asst. Engineer, Asst. Manager. To fill up 404 Vacancies of Sub Assistant Engineer, Asst. Engineer, Asst. Manager with different pay bands, WBSEDCL invites online application from suitable candidates. Online application has been started from 20/04/2013 and will be continued upto 03/05/2013. After completion of online Registration, candidate may send Registration Slip with required documents on or before 13/05/2013. Eligibility for Sub Assistant Engineer, Asst. Engineer, Asst. Manager:
  • Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as on 01/01/2013. Relaxation in upper age limit for SC / ST is 5 years and for OBC is 3 years
  • Qualifications: B.Tech / BE / B.sc / MBA / Graduation / Engineering Diploma. All the mentioned qualifications are for different posts. So, candidates need to visit detailed advertisement to know more about it.
Selection Process: Selection of eligible candidate for the Job of Sub Assistant Engineer, Asst. Engineer, Asst. Manager will be done though written examination and interview. Written test will be based on GK, Current Affaires, Reasoning, General Engineer and Arithmetic. Apart these tests; candidates will have to appear for respective professional tests in the stream like Civil / HR / IT / Electrical / Finance etc.

Mode of Payment: Processing & Examination fees of Rs.400 for SL No. 01 to 5 and Rs.300 for SL No. 06 & 07 can be paid in the form of demand draft in favour of “West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd.”, Payable at Kolkata only. Candidates of West Bengal State belonging to SC / ST Category are exempted from examination fees
