The Exam Pattern / Scheme of Examination of UPSC Engineering Service Exam 2012 comprised of Two Parts. Part-I will be Objective Type Written Test of 600 Marks and Part-II will be Conventional Type Written test of 400 Marks. Part-I (Written Test) Carry Total Marks of 1000

Part-II: This one is called Personality Test which will be of 200 Marks. Only those candidates who in Part-II (Personality Test) who qualify in Part-I (Written Test)
