SSC Officer (Pilot / Observer) in Indian Navy June-2014 Course

A notification for grant of Short Service Commission as Pilot / Observer in Executive Branch has been issued by Indian Navy. Unmarried Indian Citizens holding graduate degree with 60% marks and Passed 10+2 with Mathematics & Physics are eligible to apply for this post under Course commencing June-2014 at INA Ezhimala, Kerala. Qualifications less than this will not be accepted for the Job of SSC Officer. Only male Candidates will be considered as Pilot and Male & Female Candidates will be considered as Observer. SSC Officer (As Pilot / Observer) Course Commencing June-2014
  • Age Limit: 19 to 24 years for General Candidates (Born Between 02/07/1990 to 01/07/1995) and 19 to 25 years for CPL Holders (Born Between 02/07/1989 to 01/07/1995).
  • Qualifications: For General Candidates: Bachelor’s Degree in any subject area with 60% Marks and should have passed 10+2 standard with Mathematics & Physics. Same Qualifications is for CPL Holder, they should have Current CPL issued by DGCA (India). Those candidates are not eligible to apply for Pilot Entry Scheme who have Failed in PABT earlier, however they can apply for Observer. Appearing Candidates in Graduate Degree Programme need not apply.
  • Physical Standard:  162.5 cms for Men and 152 cms for women with correlated weight. Eye Sight: 6/6, 6/9 correctable to 6/6, 6/6.
  • Pay Scale: (PB-3) Rs.15600 – 39100 with different Grade Pays in the rank of Sub-Lieutenant, Lieutenant, Lieutenant Cdr and (PB-4A) Rs.37400 to 67000 with Different Grade Pay Rs.8000 in the rank of Commander.

Selection Process: According to the performance in educational qualification, candidates will be issued call up for SSB Interview which will be conducted from December to June 2014 at Bangalore. If candidates have higher Qualification with better percentage will be considered for cut-off. SSB Interview will be completed in two stages. Stage-I will consist of Intelligence Test, Picture Perception and Discussion Test and it will be of one day. State-II will be comprised of Psychological Testing, Group Task Test and Interview which will last for Four Days. On successfully completion of these tests, Candidates will undergo PABT & Aviation Medical Examination for Pilot and only Aviation Medical Examination for Observer. Only Medically fit candidates recommended by SSBs will be appointed for training according to the basis of merit and depending on the number of vacancies.

How to apply: Online application can be filled up by 18/10/2013. To fill up online application, Candidates need to visit www.nausena-bharti.nic.in. After opening this website, click on “Officer Entry” and then fill up online application for SSC Officer in Indian Navy. After submission of online application, Candidate need to take two copies of application prints out and note down application number generated by System. One copy of application print out duly signed by the candidates should be sent with self attested photograph, Attested copies of Matriculation and 12th Certificate with Mark sheets as well as other relevant documents by ordinary post to “Post Box No. 02, Sarojini Nagar, New Delhi – 110023” on or before 27/10/2013.
