Introduction: A Notification for the recruitment to the post of Social Security Assistant (SSA) has been issued by Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO). There are 1943 vacancies in EPFO for the post of Social Security Assistant to be filled up with Eligible Candidates of India. Position: Social Security Assistant (SSA)

Vacancy: 1943 Posts ((1867 Open + 76 Sport Quota)

Pay Scale: Rs.5200 to 20200 + Rs.2400 GP

Eligibility for SSA in EPFO:

Age Limit & Relaxations: 18 to 27 years as on 09/03/2012. Relaxation in Upper age limit for SC / ST is 5 years and 3 years for OBC Candidates

Qualifications: Graduate Degree with Typing Speed of 5000 Key Depressions Per Hour in Data Entry Work.

Selection Process: Selection of the eligible candidates for the post of Social Security Assistant (SSA) in EPFO will be done through two stages, (1).Written Test and (2).Skill Test.

Exam Pattern: Written Test will be of 275 marks consisting of 200 Multiple Choice Questions based on Reasoning, English Language, Numerical Ability and Office Aptitude. Time duration will be 2 Hours. After qualifying in written test, candidates will be called for Skill Test which will be of 50 Marks and candidates will have to obtain at least 25 Marks to qualify this Skill test

Mode of Payment: Application Fees of Rs.315 (Rs.90 for SC / ST / PH / EXS) should be paid through Payment Challan to any branch of SBI between 13/02/2012 and 08/03/2012. Payment Challan will be available at official website of EPFO
