Attendant-Cum-Technician (Trainee)
- Vacancies: 153 Posts (UR-64, SC-15, ST-59, OBC-15). Out of these vacancies, 25 posts are reserved for PWD Candidates
- Qualifications: Matriculation with AITT conducted by NCVT after completing training as Trade Apprentice in Integrated Steel Plant.
- Age Limit: Upper age limit is 28 years as on 01/12/2013. Relaxation in age for candidates belonging to SC / ST will be provided upto 5 years and for OBC (Non-creamy layer), it will be 03 years. For Ex-servicemen, it will be as per rule.
- Salary: Rs.8600 PM during 1st year and Rs.10000 PM during 2nd year of training period. On successfully completion of training, they will be put in the pay scale of Rs.8630 to 12080 PM.
Physical Standard: Height-155 cms for Male, 143 cms for
female. Weight-45 kgs for male, 35 kgs for female. Chest-70-79 cms for Male,
70-75 cms for female. Distant Vision-6/9 of both eyes with normal colour
vision.
Selection Process: For the Selection of eligible candidates on the post of Attendant Cum Technician (Trainee), SAIL will conduct a written examination, those who qualify in this exam will be called for Interview. Date, Time & Venue of Written Exam and Interview will be available on its official website www.sail.co.in. After selection for the job, candidates will undergo training for a period of two years. After successfully completion of training, they will be placed in Pay Scale S-1 and will be put on probation for a period of one year.
Application Fee: Rs.150 (Rs.50 for SC / ST / PWD / Locally Displace Person) can be deposited at any SBI Bank Branch in the Name of SAIL / Bokaro Steel Plant to the A/c No. 31877168126 of SBI Sector 4, B.S. City Branch.
