  1. Assistant Electrical Engineer – 105 Vacancy
  2. Assistant Executive Engineer – 60 Vacancy
  3. Junior Electrical Engineer (General Cadre) – 83 Vacancy
  4. Junior Electrical Engineer (GTO Cadre) – 45 Vacancy
Scale of Pay:
  • Assistant Electrical / Executive Engineer – Rs.15600 to 39100 + Rs.5500 GP
  • Junior Electrical Engineer – Rs.9300 to 34800 + Rs.4500 GP
Eligibility Criteria of Engineer Posts in BSEB:
Qualifications:
  • Assistant Electrical / Executive Engineer:- Graduate Degree in Engineering in relevant disciplines with 60% Marks
  • Junior Electrical Engineer:- Engineer Diploma of 3 years in relevant disciplines with 60% Marks
  • Note: For SC / ST Candidates Marks will be relaxed upto 15% and 5% for EBC / BC Candidates. It is applicable only for the candidates of bihar
Age Limit and Relaxations:
Between 21 and 37 years as on 31/12/2011, Candidates belonging to SC / ST Category will be relaxed upto 5 years, 3 years for BC / EBC Candidates and 10 years for PH Candidates
Application Fees:
  • Rs.250 for SC / ST Category
  • Rs.400 for Regular Employee of BSEB
  • Rs.1000 for All others Category
