APTET January 2012 Notification
For the Implementation of the right of children to free and compulsory education, Andhra Pradesh Government Requires a Large Number of Teachers in the State. For the Recruitment of Teacher, Andhra Pradesh Government is going to organize a Written Test on 08/01/2011 which is also known as APTET Jan 2012. Interested candidates having all required qualifications for APTET Jan 2012 may apply online from the website http://aptet.cgg.gov.in.

Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) January 2011
Eligibility Criteria:
Qualifications for Class 1 to 5 for the candidates already in possession of Respective Teacher Education Course Certificates:
Ø      Higher Secondary with 45% Marks with Diploma of 2 years in Elementary Education or 12th Passed with 50% Marks with Diploma of 4 years in Bachelor of Elementary Education Course (B.EI.Ed) or Intermediate with 50% with Diploma of 2 years in Education (Special Education)
Ø      Relaxation in Mark for SC / ST  /  PH is 5%
Qualifications for Class 6 to 8 for Candidates already in Possession of Respective Teacher Education Course Certificates
Ø      Bachelor of Science / Commerce / Arts with Diploma of 2 years in Elementary Education or Graduate degree in Science / Commerce / Arts with 45% Marks with B.Ed of one year or Bachelor of Arts / Commerce / Science with 50% marks and one year B.Ed (Special Education) or Class 12th with 50% Marks with Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed) of 4 years or 12th with 50% Marks and 4 years B.Sc Ed or B.A Ed
Ø      Marks Relaxation for SC / ST is 5%
Note: Those Candidates may also apply who are pursuing Respective Teacher Education Course (2010-11 or earlier)
Exam Pattern:
APTET Jan 2012 will an Objective Types Written Exam consisting of 150 Multiple Choice Questions. There are two Papers in This Written Test, one for Class I to V and other for Class VI to VIII. Total Mark will be 150 for each Paper. You may have a look on APTET January 2012 Exam Syllabus to know more about it.
Application Fees:
Rs.300 for Paper-I and Paper-II should be paid through AP Online or E-Seva Centre. It can be paid from 31/10/2011 to 25/11/2011. After Payment of application fees, you will be provided a Journal Number which will be used at the Time of applying online
How to apply: (Follow these instructions)
  1. First of all candidates are required to pay appropriate application fees through AP ONLINE or E-Seva Centre and get a Journal Number. You may see the List of AP Online or E-Seva Centre on the same Website.
  2. Now you need to Scan your photograph and Signature, just Paste you photograph on a white paper and put your signature just below your photograph and scan it for uploading at the time of applying online 
  3. If you have done all the above said, Then Log on to http://aptet.cgg.gov.in and See the other details in case you need.
  4. As you log on to the above website, you will see a link on this page at right side top corner Named “Click Here for Application Submission” well, Click on the same link and you will be directed to another page where you will be required to Enter “Journal Number” Date of Payment” and “Date of Birth” and those who have already applied for APTET July 2011 may Enter their “Reference Id” only. After entering the all above said, Click on Submit
  5. Now, upload your Scan Photograph by following instructions. After photograph is uploaded, online application form will be opened
  6. Now, fill up online application format with required details and see the “Preview” before submitting, you satisfy with “Preview” then Click on “Submit” Button.
  7. Note down the “Reference ID Number” and you may take a print out of the application for further use

Hall Ticket:
If you have successfully submitted your online application, you may be able to download Hall Ticket by visiting the same website from 24/12/2011 onwards. You have to enter required details to download Hall Ticket, So just note down you Application Reference Id and other essential details
