West Bengal Police Recruitment Board has issued two different notifications for recruitment of Junior Constable. One for Paschim Medinipore and another for Birbhum. Candidates residing in LWE affected area of the mentioned districts are eligible to apply for the post. See the following paragraphs for more details.

Important Dates Apply online / Offline from 10/03/2016 to 11/04/2016.		Physical Height Male:– 167 cms for UR/SC/OBC and 160 cms for ST. Female: – 160 cms for UR/SC/OBC and 152 cms for ST. Chest (for Male) UR/SC/OBC: 76-81 cms ST: 74-79 cms
Qualifications Class 8th Passed from a recognized institute.
Age Limit 18 to 27 years as on 01/01/2016 Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC – 03 years.
Who Can Apply? – Candidates from following area can apply.
Paschim Medinipore – 79 Posts	Goaltore, Kotwali, Kharagpur Local, Keshiary, Lalgarh, Salboni.
Jhargram Police District – 153 Posts	Belpahari, Binpur, Beliabera, Gopiballavpur, Jhargram, Jamboni, Nayagram, Sankrail.
Bankura District – 134 Posts	Barikul, Raipur, Ranibandh, Simlapal, Sarenga.
Purulia District – 293 Posts	Arsha, Bundwan, Barabazar, Balarampur, Boro, Bagmundi, Jhalda, Joypur, Kotshila.
