Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation Limited (APGENCO) requires 1755 Junior Plant Attendant. For the Recruitment of same, APGENCO invites applications from eligible people. APGENCO has already given an advertisement against 1086 Post of Junior Plant Attendant and now APGENCO has increased it from 1086 to 1755 Posts.

Ø      Vacancies: Total 1755 Posts (Previous: 1086 and Recent: 669 Posts)
Ø      Age: 18 to 35 years as on 01/10/2011
Ø      Qualification: Class 10th Passed with ITI Diploma in the trade of Turner / Fitter, Machinist / Welder / Mechanic / Electrician / Wireman / Draughtsman / Instrument Mechanics and Vocational Course in Electrician Trades of Two years
Application Fees:
Fees of Rs.150 will be paid through AP online Portal. After you pay application fees, you will be provided a Payment Receipt with 12 digits Journal No. which can be used at the time of applying online. You can pay application fees by the last date 10/11/2011
Selection Procedure and exam Pattern:
First of all, you will be invited for written test which will be of 25 Marks consisting of 50 multiple choice Questions. After that, Trade Test and it will be of 25 Marks too. Written Test will be organized on 04/12/2011
How to apply (Follow these steps)
  1. You have only option to apply online only through the website http://apgenco.cgg.gov.in from 20/10/2011 to10/11/2011
  2. First of all, go to your nearest AP Online Centre for paying application fees. You can see the District Wise List of AP Online Centers, for which a link has been given on the website
  3. If you have paid application fees and have got Journal No., then click on this link. As you click on the link, a new window will be opened
  4. Now, Enter the Journal Number, Date of Payment, Date of Birth in the given box and after that, upload your Scanned Photograph and enter verification code and click on “Upload” Button
  5. If you have done all that, then follow other instructions which has been provided on the website and Advertisement Notification
Note: Those candidates who have already applied for Junior Plant Attendant against Notification No. 01/CGM (HR)/2011 need not apply
