What is IGNOU OPENMAT (Entrance Test)?

Well, IGNOU OPENMAT is a type of Entrance Test to get admission in Management Programme. OPNEMAT (Entrance Test) is organized twice a year for admission in Management Programme. It is almost similar to Common Admission Test (CAT), Management Aptitude Test (MAT) but OPENMAT (Entrance Test) is only conducted by Indira Gandhi National Open University to get admission in the following Management programmes like;

• Master of Business Administration (MBA)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management (PGDMM)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management (PGDOM)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management (PGDFM)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDIM)

IGNOU OPENMAT (Entrance Test) Exam Syllabus

IGNOU OPENMAT (Entrance Test) has Four Tests Papers consisting of 200 Objective Types Questions which carry 200 Marks and for solving all the questions, you will be given Composite time of 3 Hours.

Type of Tests Papers in IGNOU OPENMAT (Entrance Test)

• (Test I) – General Awareness ....... 30 Questions – 30 Marks
• (Test II) – English Language .......... 50 Questions – 50 Marks
• (Test III) – Quantitative Aptitude ..... 50 Questions – 50 Marks
• (Test IV) – Reasoning ..................... 70 Questions – 70 Marks

Total Composite time is 3 hours. So, All the Multiple choice questions will have to be solved in the time stipulated for IGNOU OPENMAT (Entrance Test).
