ARUNACHAL PRADESH PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION
PSC Arunachal Pradesh has invited applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Assistant Professor in various disciplines Government colleges of the State. Those candidates may apply for this Post who have Post Graduate Degree in relevant disciplines with other essential quantification showing in one of the following segments of this article. Recruitment Process comprises Interview and Viva-Voce.
Position: Assistant Professor
- Vacancy: Total 23 (APST- 19, PH- 04)
- Pay Scale: Rs.15600 to 39100 + Rs.6000 GP
- The Post is temporary but possibly to be permanent

Age: Not more than 30 years as on 04/08/2011
(Age Relaxation for SC / ST Candidates is 5 years)
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Concerned Discipline with 55% Marks or
- Equivalent Qualifications with good Academic Record
- Marks for SC / ST Candidates is 50% at Master’s Degree Level
- Marks Relaxation for PH Candidates is up to 5%
- Qualified in NET / SLET / SET
Selection Procedure:
- Selection will be made on the basis of Interview / Viva-voce
- Interview / Viva-voce will be organized by Commission at Itanagar or may be at other place
- Final selection will be made on performance in Interview / Viva-voce
Application Form:
- Candidates can obtain application form for the admission to Interview / Viva-voce test from Office of the Commission, Itanagar on all working days between 10 am to 4 pm till 4th August, 2011
- For the application form Candidates will have to pay of Rs.50
Application Fees:
Rs.20 for APST and Rs.80 for General candidates in the form of Treasury Challan in favour of “The Secretary, APPSC, Itanagar, Payable at Itanagar
How to apply:
- Application complete in all respect with application fees, two passport size photograph and following enclosure should be sent to the Commission on or before 04/08/2011
Enclosure:
- Attested copies of Certificates and Mark sheets from 10th to Post Graduation
- Proof of Date certificates or it may be Matriculation certificate issued by University / Board only
- Attested copies of APST Certificates
- Attested Copies of PRC (for General Candidates only)
- NET / SLET / SET / Ph.D Certificates attested by Gazetted Officer
- Disability certificates for PH Candidates
