PPCB Recruitment for Environmental Engineer and Scientific Assistant June 2011
On-line applications are invited from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Assistant Environmental Engineer, Junior Environmental Engineer and Scientific Assistant in respective pay scale.
Post Details
  1. Assistant Environmental Engineer (35 Post) – Rs.15600 to 39100+ Rs.5400gp – Degree with 1st Class in Environmental / Chemical / Civil from a recognized university. Having Completed Computer course of six months
  2. Junior Environmental Engineer (07 Posts) – Rs.10300 to 34800+ Rs.3800gp – 1st Class Civil / Environmental or Chemical Engineering Diploma of 3 years from a recognized University. Having Completed Computer course of six months
  3. Scientific Assistant (09 Posts) – Rs.10300 to 34800+ Rs.3200gp – Bachelor’s Degree in Science or M.Sc in Basic Sciences or Environmental Science Life or Microbiology. Having Completed Computer course of six months
Age: 18 to 37 years as on 18th July, 2011
Application Fees:
Rs.500 for General and Rs.125 for SC / ST Candidates in the form of Demand Draft in favour of “Coordinator, Entrance Test for PPCB” Payable at Patiala
How to apply:
  1. Candidates are required to apply on-line through the website www.thapar.edu
  2. After Registering, Candidates will be provided an acknowledgment slip with Registration No.
  3. Take a print of the complete application and send it with demand draft by affixing a passport size photograph on it to “Coordinator, Entrance Test for PPCB, Thapar University, Patiala – 147004” on or before 18/07/2011 till 5.00 pm
