PSPCL Exam Pattern and Selection Process of Various Posts 2012
Punjab State Power Corporation Limited, Called PSPCL, has already notified for the recruitment of huge vacancies against Advt. No. CRA-276/2012 and Advt. No.CRA-277/2012. For the Selection of Entire the Posts, PSPCL will organize a written examination tentatively in the Month of June 2012. So, here i am going to discuss about the process of Selection and pattern of this written examination. It’s clear that Selection of eligible candidates on any suitable posts will be made on the basis of obtained marks in written examination. So, those who have applied for any one of the post against this recruitment and going to appear for written examination, must go through the Exam Pattern which is being described below in a few lines

Exam Pattern: The written Test will consists of 100 Multiple Choice Questions. Out of which 60 Questions will be based on the post Applied for and 40 Questions will be on GA, English and Reasoning. This Exam Pattern is applicable for all the posts except UDC (General). In the Exam Pattern of UDC (General), there will be 100 Multiple Choice Questions based on General Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical and English. Let’s see the following to make it out clearly

Important Notes:
  • Minimum Qualifying marks is 50% for General Category and 40% for Reserved Category
  • The Test carries negative marking and 0.25 marks for each wrong answer will be deducted
  • Test Papers for Entire the posts except UDC (Accounts & General) will be set in English Langue
  • Test Paper for UDC (Accounts & General) will be set in Punjab and English Langue
  • The Written examination tentatively will be held in the month of June 2012 at the Centres; Chandigarh / Patiala / Jaladhar or others which will be informed at the time of sending admit card
